Event Description

Please join us for our February Event at the University of Notre Dame's Morris Inn to learn about high performing soy biobased products for facilities, maintenance, and operations from Chris Case, Biobased Coach Consultant with the United Soybean Board.  Chris Case, retired from a 38 year career with the National Park Service where he spent his last 23 years as Facilities & Fleet Manager at Picture Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. While at Pictured Rocks, Chris led the park’s nationally recognized and award winning Environmental Leadership program, implementing a variety of “on the ground” practices demonstrating that “Sustainable is Attainable”.  In 2005 Chris was awarded with the Environmental Acheivement Award by the Department of the Interior for communicating the value of biobased products to more that 1000 government employees during that year. 

There will also be a special guest speaker, Marty Worby, Roof Maxx representative with over 25 years of experience in the roofing industry.  Marty will explain how Roof Maxx, an all natural food grade product, can extend the service life of aged asphalt shingle roofs. 

Cost is $10 for Members and $20 for Non-Members

Parking: Valet Parking available for $10 OR Free Parking in Lot BK1 near the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore (5 minute walk)
