May Event-ETHOS Science Center!

Please join us for a tour of the ETHOS Science Center. This adaptive reuse of a 90 year old building and the creativity around futuristic learning environments will provide quality space for a wide-variety of learning opportunities in science and technology for many years to come.

 Over the past year, ETHOS has been conduction a capital campaign with an ambitioius goal of raising $6.9 million dollars to renovate and add a spacious 35,000 sq.ft. addition to the former Bayer building. The theme of the campaign is "Science: Robotics: Innovation." To date, major contributions include funding from Indiana's prestigious Regional Cities' Initiative, with a matching grant from the Elkhart City Council and a $1 million challenge grant from the Community Foundation of Elkhart County. 

ETHOS mission is to provide students with opportunites to connect science to everyday life through problem-solving, discovery and critical thinking.

Saint Mary's Angela Athletic & Wellness Center Tour

It’s more than a facelift!  Saint Mary’s is proud to share the completion of the Angela Athletic & Wellness Complex renovation and expansion project As part of the College’s Faith Always, Action Now capital campaign, more than $26 million was raised to fund the project, which expanded the former Angela Athletic Facility to 103,000 square feet and enhanced its neighboring athletic fields.

All that will remain from the former Angela Athletic Facility is the gym floor. The new center will feature a modern, state-of- the-art space for students to exercise, relax, socialize, eat, and study.

Larry Rhodes from Siemens will give 1 continuing education credit for NFPA 72 - 2010:National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code

Shambaugh & Son will discuss requirements/updates for NFPA 25: Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based fire protection systems. 

Communication Company will discuss requirements/updates for NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code and NFPA 10: Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers.

Lunch will be provided. 

Cost will be $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.

August Event announcement: Tour the Goodwill Excel Training Center with BOMA Michiana

Join BOMA Michiana on August 24th for a behind the scenes tour of the renovated Goodwill Excel Training Center in South Bend, IN. Ancon Construction will be on hand to review the construction project and the challenges faced when remodeling an older building and the staff from Excel will lead a guided tour of their renovated facility and an overview of the impact the center has on the Michiana community.

Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm

RSVP is required and boxed lunches will be served.  The fee to attend is $10.00 for BOMA members and $20.00 for non-BOMA members. 

We hope you will join us to see this beautiful facility and undestand the impact it has on our communities.
